HEROES
Adem Jashari

Adem Jashari is one of the most known heroes among the Albanians. He is the on that fought against the Serbians and because of him Kosovo is independent. That's why me and all the Albanians see him as a hero because we are an independent country and we now have our own country.
Rasim Thaçi

Rasim Thaçi or better known as Cima was a very well-known humourist within the Albanian community. He was best known for his gestures and funny facial expressions.
My family and I used to watch his funny series and films. My father was even friends with him and knew him and that made him even more fun because we also knew his personal character. His personal character perfectly matched that of his films and series, he was the same person both in his daily life and in the character he played. Unfortunately, he passed away recently in 26 March 2021 and the cause was COVID-19.
Ibrahim Rugova

Ibrahim Rugova was president of Kosovo and the leader of his leading political party in that region, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). Ibrahim Rugova was elected president of Kosovo in 1992, at which time Kosovo was not yet separated from Serbia. On 4 March 2002, he was re-elected president of Kosovo by the Kosovo parliament, at which time Kosovo indeed gained independence from Serbia.
He is
remembered as the Gandhi of the Balkans because of his unarmed struggle against
Serbia. He always tried to do the best for his country, Kosovo, and that is why
we are so grateful to him for his struggle. He passed away on 21 January 2006.
Sheikh Al-Albani

Muhammad b. al-Haj Nuh b. Nijati b. Adam al-Ishqudri al-Albani al-Arnauti or better know as Sheikh Al-Albani, was a very well-known Albanian Islamic scholar. His name Sheikh 'Al-Albani' is named after his homeland, Albania. Scholars are those who study the Quran and other holy texts, research the history of Islam, publish research papers and books, teach students about Islam and study current issues in Islam. This should all be in the correct Islamic way, according to the sharia. Sharia is the Islamic law.
For me personally, he is important because I value my religion, Islam. This of course does not apply to every Albanian because there are also non-Muslim Albanians.
Mother Theresa

Mother Teresa or in Albanian Nënë Tereza is very well known all over the world. Her real name was actually, Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu. She was an Albanian from northern Macedonia, which is why many people thought she was Macedonian, but she was not, she was an Albanian from northern Macedonia.
Mother
Teresa was a Catholic nun and missionary. She is famous for her charitable
works and helping the poor, hungry and sick people of India. She founded the
Missionaries of Charity, who ran over 500 missions worldwide. Some people even
saw her as a 'saint' but I don't.
